Four-Variable K-Map: The Four-Corner Group

A four-variable Karnaugh map is shown for a function F(A, B, C, D). The map contains 1s at minterms m0, m2, m8, and m10. All other cells contain 0.

Analyze the adjacency of these specific minterms and determine the minimal Sum of Products (SOP) expression for F.

Constraints

  • Map variables are ordered A, B for rows and C, D for columns using standard Gray code ordering.
  • Signal names must be capitalized.
  • Inverted signals must be denoted with a single quote appended to the variable name, such as A'.
