Build a 1:2 DEMUX from Gates
Data distribution networks and serial-to-parallel converters rely on routing a single data stream to multiple discrete destinations. The 1:2 demultiplexer directs a single data signal to one of two output paths based on a control signal, while forcing the unselected path to zero.
The circuit takes a data input D and a select input S. When S is 0, output Y0 follows D and Y1 is 0. When S is 1, output Y1 follows D and Y0 is 0.
