Build a Half Subtractor

Arithmetic logic units calculate relative offsets, address decrements, and error bounds using binary subtraction. The core arithmetic element calculates the difference between a minuend bit A and a subtrahend bit B, asserting a borrow out signal when the subtrahend is larger.
