Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

• "Platform" means the Codiode website and all associated services.
• "User" means any individual who accesses the Platform.
• "Pro" means the paid subscription plan that unlocks premium features.
• "Content" means all problems, editorials, waveforms, and materials on the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform. By using Codiode, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide during registration is accurate and complete.

3. User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to share your account with others, and to notify us immediately at team@codiode.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Codiode offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro is available in two billing cycles:

• Monthly: INR 399 per month, billed each month.
• Annual: INR 1,599 per year, billed once annually.

All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes. Payments are processed by Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method at the frequency selected. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Codiode does not offer a cash-on-delivery (COD) payment option because all products are digital services delivered electronically.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Platform, including problem statements, editorial solutions, simulation code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Codiode. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

Code you write and submit as solutions remains yours. By submitting, you grant Codiode a non-exclusive licence to use anonymised submissions for platform improvement and aggregate analytics.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Share, sell, or publicly post premium problem solutions or editorial content.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically download Platform content.
• Use automated tools to game leaderboard rankings or contest results.
• Upload or transmit malicious code through the RTL submission pipeline.
• Harass, abuse, or intimidate other users in community forums.

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or permanent termination without refund.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Codiode makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. Grading results are indicative and not a guarantee of performance in external assessments or employment.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Codiode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
